Waghmart’s Tube Settler Media – PVC is a space-saving, high-efficiency solution designed to enhance sedimentation in clarifiers. Made from durable, UV-stabilized PVC, this media is widely used in STPs, ETPs, and industrial clarifier tanks to improve solid-liquid separation, reduce sludge volume, and increase plant capacity — all while minimizing operational costs.
Tube Settler Media (also known as lamella media) is engineered to increase the settling surface area in clarifier tanks using a series of inclined tubes. These 60°-angled PVC modules allow suspended particles to settle faster while reducing tank size and retention time. 1.Prepare the Tank:-Ensure the clarifier or sedimentation tank is cleaned and leveled.
2.Assemble the Media:-Stack PVC tubes in a honeycomb structure, set at a 60° angle.
3.Install in the Clarifier:-Place the modules inside the tank using a frame or support system.
4.Connect Flow System:-Direct inlet flow evenly across the media bed; connect outlet weirs.
5.Routine Cleaning:-Flush the media periodically to remove sludge, algae, or debris.
